Art&Lutherie dreadnought model is an excellent choice if you are looking for a great all round instrument. The big body of a dreadnought makes a big sound with lots of bass response, excellent for strumming and finger style accompaniment. The cutaway design is primarily about gaining left hand access to the upper parts of the fingerboard. This typically requires a certain amount of advanced technique. However, there are a couple of other reasons to consider a cutaway. For starters they look cool and who knows, perhaps if you are attracted to the looks of your new guitar, you'll be more inclined to pick it up and play it. The cutaway models also lend themselves well to the installation of on-board pickup systems.
